Ah Pre-Fall. What does it all mean? We don't want to say that Pre-Fall is bigger than Fall, but it can certainly be more lucrative. Fall Collections, especially the couture ones, are expensive to create, and expensive to buy - these days there is a smaller and smaller market for couture lines, and RTW can have price tags that can send you into shock too. The solution for a lot of designers has been Pre-Fall. It allows the creative team to explore a theme and their price points can be lower than the Fall collections.
I know that it is not diplomatic to hate a trend, that most are cooing over, BUT, I am the blog writer, and am therefore allowed to have my own thoughts, and I have been given a platform — if you have a varying opinion, write me! Comment on the post, and I will be happy to re-evaluate.
